Reiki

Reiki is a gentle, holistic practice that supports relaxation, self-awareness, emotional balance, and overall well-being. Rooted in Japanese healing traditions, Reiki uses intentional, light-touch or hands-off practices to create a calm and supportive environment where the mind and body can slow down and reconnect.

A Reiki session offers an opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life and intentionally turn your attention inward. Many people seek Reiki during periods of stress, transition, emotional heaviness, personal growth, or simply as a way to create more space for rest and self-connection. You do not need to have any previous experience with Reiki or hold any particular spiritual beliefs to participate.

My approach to Reiki is individualized and centered on meeting you where you are. Sessions may focus on relaxation and traditional Reiki practices or, when appropriate, incorporate elements of Shadow Work Reiki and Ho’oponopono Reiki.

Shadow Work Reiki creates space for deeper self-reflection and exploration of emotions, beliefs, experiences, and recurring patterns that may be influencing your present life. Rather than judging or trying to eliminate difficult parts of ourselves, this approach encourages curiosity, awareness, compassion, and greater self-acceptance.

Ho’oponopono Reiki incorporates principles inspired by the Hawaiian practice of Ho’oponopono, with an emphasis on reflection, forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, and releasing what may no longer serve you. These practices can be incorporated into Reiki sessions as part of a broader intention toward emotional clarity and personal growth.

Each session is different because each person arrives with different experiences, needs, and intentions. There is no expectation that you need to “fix” anything before beginning. Reiki provides a quiet, intentional space to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels supportive and authentic.

Whether you are seeking deep relaxation, greater self-awareness, emotional reflection, or simply intentional time for yourself, Reiki can become one part of a broader practice of caring for your whole self, mind, body, and spirit.

Clinical hypnotherapy

Clinical hypnotherapy is a collaborative, goal focused approach that uses guided relaxation, focused attention, imagery, and therapeutic suggestion to support meaningful changes in thoughts, feelings, habits, and behavioral patterns. During hypnosis, you enter a deeply relaxed and focused state while remaining aware, responsive, and in control of your experience.

This focused state can create an opportunity to turn attention inward and explore beliefs, emotional responses, habits, and patterns that may be difficult to shift through conscious effort alone. Hypnosis is not mind control, unconsciousness, or a loss of personal control. You remain an active participant throughout the experience and can choose whether suggestions feel appropriate for you.

Clinical hypnotherapy may be used to support stress management and relaxation, confidence and self-esteem, motivation, habit change, personal growth, emotional well-being, and the development of healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.

Sessions are individualized around your goals, experiences, and comfort level. Together, we identify the areas you would like to work on and use hypnotherapeutic techniques to support greater awareness, strengthen helpful internal resources, and create opportunities for meaningful and sustainable change.

Somatic Healing

Somatic healing is a body centered approach that recognizes the connection between our thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and nervous system. Rather than focusing only on talking or thinking through an experience, somatic practices encourage greater awareness of what is happening within the body in the present moment.

Somatic healing may incorporate grounding, mindful body awareness, breathwork, gentle movement, relaxation, and other body-centered practices. These approaches encourage you to notice physical sensations, emotional responses, and patterns within the body with curiosity rather than judgment.

Somatic practices may support relaxation, stress management, emotional awareness, nervous-system regulation, reconnection with the body, and a greater sense of safety and presence. Over time, developing greater awareness of the body’s responses can also create opportunities to recognize patterns, respond more intentionally, and strengthen the connection between mind and body.

Sessions are individualized around your needs, comfort level, and goals. Somatic practices may be offered independently or thoughtfully integrated with Reiki or Clinical Hypnotherapy to support a more holistic approach to self-awareness, well-being, and personal growth.

It should introduce Thrive & Bloom and create the overall feeling of the practice, while the Services page provides the detailed information about Reiki and hypnotherapy.
